Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 12 July 2026

Maskrey Studio ("we", "us", "our") is committed to making maskrey.studio accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use. Building inclusive, usable websites is core to what we do, so we hold our own site to the same standard.

01The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the internationally recognised benchmark for accessible websites. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we keep working to improve the experience over time.

02What we've done

Steps we've taken on this site include:

  • using clear, semantic HTML structure and landmarks so screen readers can navigate the page;
  • providing a "skip to content" link and visible keyboard focus styles;
  • supporting keyboard navigation across the pages we build and control (see "Known limitations" below for the third-party booking tool);
  • choosing text and colour combinations intended to meet AA contrast ratios;
  • respecting the prefers-reduced-motion setting, so animations are reduced or removed for visitors who ask their device to minimise motion;
  • building a responsive layout that adapts to different screen sizes and supports zoom and larger text;
  • writing descriptive text and labels for interactive elements.

03Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some areas may not yet be fully accessible:

  • The booking tool used to schedule calls is provided by a third party (Cal.com). We don't control its code, and parts of it may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA. If you have any difficulty booking, email us and we'll gladly arrange a call another way.
  • Some decorative animations and background effects are present for visitors who allow motion; these are suppressed when reduced-motion is requested.

If you find something that isn't listed here, please tell us — see below.

04Feedback and reporting a problem

If you experience any difficulty using this website, or need information from it in a different format (for example large print, plain text or a different file type), please get in touch and we'll do our best to help:

Email: joe@maskrey.studio

We aim to respond within 5 working days.

Please include the page address and a short description of the problem so we can look into it quickly.

05A note on scope

Publishing this statement is voluntary for a private studio like ours: the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 apply to public-sector organisations, not to us. As a provider of services to the public, we remain mindful of our duty under the Equality Act 2010 to make reasonable adjustments for disabled people, and we believe accessible design is simply good design. We review this statement periodically and update it as the site changes, and we welcome your feedback.
