Cookie Policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Maskrey Studio ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on maskrey.studio. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. In short: we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not follow you around the web. Our website analytics are cookieless — they set no cookies at all.

01What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to store information. Similar technologies — such as local storage and pixels — do comparable things. Cookies are usually classed as either:
- Strictly necessary — needed to deliver the site and the features you ask for (for example, security and load balancing). These don't require your consent.
- Functional — support extra features, such as an embedded booking tool. These are not classed as strictly necessary, so where they are not essential to something you have specifically asked for, they generally require your consent.
- Analytics / performance — measure how a site is used. We use a cookieless analytics tool (Plausible), so no analytics cookies are stored on your device.
- Advertising / targeting — used to profile and re-target visitors. We do not use these.
02How we use cookies
We keep cookies to a minimum. This website does not set any analytics, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies of its own. The only cookies that may be present are those set by the infrastructure and tools we use to deliver the site securely and to run the booking feature — principally our hosting and security provider, and the booking tool when it loads. We do use a privacy-friendly analytics tool (Plausible) to measure how the site is used, but it is cookieless and stores nothing on your device, so it isn't listed in the table below.
03The cookies used on this site
| Source | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Our hosting, content-delivery and security provider may set one or more security cookies to protect the site against malicious traffic and to deliver content reliably (for example a bot-management cookie). | Strictly necessary |
| Cal.com | Our booking tool is provided by Cal.com. It loads automatically when you scroll to the booking section near the foot of the page, and may set cookies needed to run the scheduling widget and remember your session. We do not add any analytics or advertising cookies of our own through it; because Cal.com operates the tool, we do not control every cookie it may set (see Cal.com's privacy policy). | Functional / third-party embed |
We don't control the cookies set by these third parties. You can read more in Cloudflare's cookie policy and Cal.com's privacy policy. The site's typography is served by Google Fonts and the animation library by Cloudflare's cdnjs; these load files rather than set cookies, but your IP address is visible to those providers as part of the request (see our Privacy Policy). The exact names and lifetimes of any cookies these providers set are determined by them and set out in their own policies; most are session or short-lived cookies, and we're happy to help if you have questions.
04Consent and your choices
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR, strictly necessary cookies can be used without consent, while cookies that are not strictly necessary generally require it. We do not use any analytics or advertising cookies. Our booking tool loads automatically as you scroll near the booking section and may set functional cookies at that point; these are not strictly necessary. You can prevent these cookies by blocking third-party or non-essential cookies in your browser (see below) — this stops the cookies, though the tool itself may still load and share your IP with Cal.com as the page renders. If you'd prefer not to use the booking tool at all, you're welcome to email us to arrange a call instead.
05How to manage or block cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to warn you before accepting them. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how parts of the site work. Guidance for the main browsers:
You can find more general guidance about cookies and how to manage them at the ICO's website. Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" setting; as we don't track you, there is nothing for us to disable.
06Changes to this policy
If we introduce new cookies or technologies — for example cookie-based analytics or advertising — we will update this policy first, revise the "last updated" date, and, where the law requires, ask for your consent before those cookies are set.
